![]() There will be times when you have to stand around doing nothing for several hours. I once had to scoop used sunflower seed shells from a cup holder and I promise you it was unpleasant. Be prepared to clean up soda, candy, popcorn, and even weird snacks they sneak in. ![]() This also means that you most likely will not get a full time schedule, as they are trying to spread hours amongst too many people.Ĭustomers are gross. There are an abundance of employees there, so there is almost always someone available to cover your shift last minute. Management is not careful about scheduling you a closing shift and opening shift back to back with a mere 8 hour turnaround time, but they are usually willing to change it for you if you bring it to their attention. There will be days when you come in at 8am, and nights where you will work until 1am. The hours are quite hectic, especially if you have an open availability. The customers are usually rude, demanding, and unwilling to cooperate with general company policies or daily hindrances outside of your control (food delays, shortages, sold out seats, malfunctioning credit card readers.) I think they should have just let us go to the next showing regardless of the extra cost for what I had already paid.Overall, the environment is welcoming, but the pay is definitely not worth the work. I declined because I didn’t think I should have to pay more because it was because I spent about $15 for a special cup that by the way is now broken because they broke it trying to get it opened and it was because of this special cup I bought that not everyone knew how to work, I was late to the movie. So now I follow him across the lobby and miss even more of the movie just to be told there is another showtime right then but it was in D Box and it would be $6 a piece more. So after I waited a few mins and missed more of the movie they called him on the walkie and he showed back up and said I needed your ticket and needed u to follow me. Well he apparently told me to follow him to guest services and I didn’t because he didn’t make it clear to me or I didn’t hear him say to follow him and I thought he said he had to check for other movie times at guest services. ![]() ![]() After trying a few times they did find someone who helped but I had missed a good 10 mins of the movie so the people that take the tickets called the manager I think because he didn’t really introduce himself to me so I’m not sure who he was to c if there was another movie starting so we could c the beginning. They were very nice but not very knowledgable on how to work it. They didn’t show me how to work it so I ended u having to take it back to the counter to get help. So we went in and I bought my granddaughter this really cool spider man cup that u wear around your neck and has popcorn at the top and drink on the bottom. When I pulled in I was happy to c that it was a little busier than the other times I have been. I started going to this theater right after it opened and there wasn’t very many people who knew about it but I was so impressed that I told everyone about it and about the bathrooms and how cool they were and clean and how friendly people who work there are.
